With nearly two decades of experience as an A&R talent executive at Interscope Records, James Mormile guided the careers of Grammy winning songwriter and producer Ryan Tedder and multi-platinum band OneRepublic. As a self proclaimed “facilitator” Mormile opened doors and fostered collaboration with some of the worlds biggest artists.
Always at the forefront of innovation, Mormile described his music career as a “24/7 commitment,” where his main role was to be readily available, forging connections and ensuring a seamless execution of projects. His reputation quickly became that of someone who could translate complex musical and creative visions into reality.
In 2017, Mormile broadened his horizons and applied his talent management skills to the sporting world, launching ESPN’s Professional Fighters League as Director of Talent Relations and event producer. This season-based Mixed Martial Arts promotion, now in its fifth season, awards a million-dollar prize to six champions annually.
With a keen eye for emerging talent and a knack for navigating the industry landscape, Mormile utilized his position to foster creative opportunities for artists, empowering them to reach their full potential. His rapport with artists, established under the mentorship of legendary producer and record executive Jimmy Iovine, enabled him to leverage relationships to broker valuable collaborations and partnerships furthering their careers.
Transferring his skills from the music and sports industry to real estate, Mormile uses his extensive network and relationship-building expertise to help families find their perfect homes. “Everything I did was relationship-based, in support of emerging talent in music and sports. I bring that same passion to the families that we help find the perfect home.”
James earned a Bachelor of Science in Radio and Broadcasting from Seton Hall University. He now resides in Westwood with his family, applying the same dedication and enthusiasm he had for creative talent towards supporting families in their search for their dream homes.
