Beverly Hills is one of the most affluent neighborhoods in Los Angeles County, located in the western part of Los Angeles and is adjacent to the cities of West Hollywood, Beverlywood, Century City, and Holmby Hills. From quiet palm-tree lined streets and magnificent homes, condos, and apartments, to luxury shopping and gastronomic restaurants, Beverly Hills has much to offer its residents. It is also home to Rodeo Drive, the center of one of the most famous and expensive shopping districts in the world. It is a full-service community with its own police, fire, water treatment, and building inspection departments, among other services. Additionally, it has its own school district with elementary and middle schools serving children from kindergarten through 8th grade, as well as one high school. The Beverly Hills Unified School District includes some of the best schools in the country.
